About Kathy
By the age of five, I knew I could perceive the feelings of others. People would frequently ask me, "how did you know that?” but I never had an answer; for the most part, I simply assumed everyone would have the same experience if they just paid attention. Decades before I would become familiar with the term "claircognizance," I would trust my intuition to guide me.
It was only with a spirtual awakening in my forties that I felt compelled to pursue my life's purpose. This inner prompting led me to seek training in psychic development, and I enrolled in a community college class. On the first night, after a brief lecture and guided meditation, our professor paired us for readings. I went first, and could immediately sense a radical change in the woman’s marriage. I intuited that her husband held a new, profound appreciation for her, and that she was happy with their situation. Sharing my impressions, I initially thought they might be renewing vows or embarking on a second honeymoon – but to my surprise, the woman was actually in the process of divorcing her husband. After struggling to fend for himself, the woman’s husband admitted to not fully realizing the extent of her contributions, and how much he underestimated all she had done for him. The joy I felt was her immense happiness to finally be free from an irreparable marriage.
I continued my studies and received my Doctorate in Metaphysical Healing from the Arthur Ford International Academy of Mediumship at Delphi University. I’ve become particularly interested in how spirituality, intuition and mediumship intersect. I believe we all have the capacity to use our intuition and channel spirit; we so easily forget the language of our souls when we learn our human language. It is our task (if we are so inclined) to find which of our senses are the strongest, and develop them through practice. We can do this by:
1) Quieting oneself through meditation, so we can hold space while listening and feeling;
2) Trusting what we hear, see, sense, know, smell and taste;
3) Learning to interpret the symbols, signs, and images we are given;
4) Asking spirit directly, “What does this mean?” when we don’t understand.
Over the past ten years, I’ve felt more drawn to the metaphysical aspect of healing, and do energy work primarily in the form of Reiki, intuitive readings, mediumship, and past life regression. I seek to practice evidential mediumship, with the intention to offer evidence to validate the messages I receive.
My goal for every reading is for my clients to experience healing through a deeper connection to themselves and their loved ones. I hope that every person who participates in any healing service with me will have one primary take away experience: the knowledge of how deeply we matter; that Spirit gives profound consideration for elements great and small about our lives.
